Biking at Cornell
Cycling is an excellent way to commute. Ithaca’s steep hills coupled with the fantastic gorge views can make a ride across campus a challenging—yet rewarding—experience.
You can bike to class or work and still be as fresh as a daisy. Most Cornell Athletic facilities locker rooms are open and free for all Cornell community members. Any person using the facilities must show a CU ID card or proof of relationship to the University if requested. Go to http://www.fitness.cornell.edu for facility rules, locations, and hours.

Cycling Ithaca’s hills is easy with TCAT’s free bike rack program. Bike racks are mounted on most of TCAT’s buses, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
