Athletic Events
Generally, parking for athletic events is coordinated by the athletics department.  Athletics may charge a fee for parking for lots closest to the event venue even if you have a Cornell parking permit. Visit the athletic department’s site for driving directions and tailgaiting rules.

Concerts
Parking for concerts held in Bailey Hall is available in the parking garage on Hoy Road. Shuttle service is usually available between Bailey Hall and the parking garage. Limited parking is available on Sage Avenue for concerts held in Barnes Hall.

Lectures

If the lecture you plan to attend is taking place during a weekday, be sure to stop at an information booth for a permit and parking instructions. Or park in one of the many metered areas. If the lecture is after 5 p.m. or on the weekend, park in parking garage on Hoy Road.

Movies
Parking is available in the lot behind Willard Straight Hall. You don’t have to pay the meter after 5 p.m. Monday – Friday or on the weekend. Parking for Uris Hall events is available in the parking garage on Hoy Road.

Theater
The city-owned Dryden Road parking garage is located next to the Schwartz Center, with easy access to the building. The charge is $1.00 per hour.

Weddings and Memorials
Parking arrangements for weddings, memorial services, receptions, and other events that include Anabel Taylor Chapel or Sage Chapel are coordinated with Cornell United Religious Work (CURW). For wedding and memorial planning, contact Joe Tagliaferre of CURW at jpt62@cornell.edu. To arrange for parking and traffic control, contact Transportation Services.
