All rights of appeal are forfeited and a late fee is assessed after 21 calendar days from the date on which the ticket was issued. Appeals responses are made in writing via campus or U.S. mail, and may take up to two weeks. You will not incur late fees or penalties while your appeal is being reviewed.
A violation must be appealed to the Transportation Office within 10 calendar days from the date on which the ticket was issued or the appeal must be accompanied by the payment of the fine (and late fee after 21 days). All rights of appeal are forfeited after 21 calendar days from the date on which the ticket was issued.

In general circumstances such as lack of knowledge of the regulations, inability to find a legal parking space, or forgetfulness are not grounds to excuse a violation.
