Commuter and Parking Services

If you have a documented need to use your personal vehicle for on-campus business on a daily basis, your department may opt to pay for your individual parking permit.  

An additional application is required for maintenance and trade (MT) permits (valid in most legal permit parking spaces) and business (BUSN) privileges (allows up to 2 hours in MT spaces and Tier 1-6 areas). Applications and payment authorization forms are available at C&PS.  

You must meet certain eligibility requirements in order to qualify for a department-paid permit, such as:

• The permit and/or special location are required for business reasons.
• Your job description calls for use of a personal vehicle for travel between campus sites, and you’re eligible for mileage reimbursements.
